香港Linux用家協會(HKLUG)在2004年11月27日舉行的LinuxTalk邀得CK-Ledger的原作者胡朝基先生(C.K.Wu) 介紹其最新得意作品CK-ERP(時機商計)。早在一年多前，胡先生曾在本會LinuxTalk介紹過CK-Ledger－ 一個針對中港中小企需要而開發的會計系統 ，亦是少數由香港人開發的開放源軟件之一。繼CK-Ledger後，胡先生將其功能作大幅度伸延，成為了一套完整的開放源碼ERP/CRM系統－CK-ERP。除了原有的會計系統，加入了Contact Management、CRM、顧客自助服務、供應商關係管理、存貨管理、服務管理、銀行結餘校對、應付帳/發票(AP)、應收帳/發票(AR)、採購訂單(PO)、銷售訂單(SO)、報價單(Quotation)銷售點管理(POS)、人力資源管理(HR)和工資管理(Payroll)等。整個系統以模組形式嵌入phpGroupWare系統中。而本會的侯晏泉先生(Leo Hau)亦和胡先生合作把CK-ERP移植上eGroupWare。當日侯先生亦和在場人仕分享了eGroupWare使用上的經驗。

Wu Chiu Kay (CK Wu) is a computer hobbyist graduating with Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) majoring in accounting and computer science back in the '80s. Professionally, he has worked as a computer auditor and an accountant for various business organizations. He is also qualified as Fellow of HKICPA, CISA, LPI-1, OCP and MCSE.
