[轉載] MPAA 涉嫌侵犯電腦程式版權

一直大力打擊網上侵權、引起無數爭議的美國電影協會 (MPAA)，近日被指涉嫌侵犯電腦程式的版權。MPAA 設立了一個網上平台，供網民與該會主席溝通，使用了「Forest Blog」系統。此系統的作者雖然免費開放程式給任何人使用，但其版權授權列明必需保留該系統上連結到 Forest Blog 官方網頁的連結，否則就需要付費。程式作者 Patrick Robin 早前無意中發現 MPAA 使用了 Forest Blog，但刪去了官方網頁的連結，又沒有付費，所以指出 MPAA 侵犯了此程式的版權。事後，MPAA 已刪除網頁的該部份，並回覆作者指出該部份其實只屬測試，暫時未有公開宣傳。

正如 Patrick Robin 所說，MPAA 的回覆令人懷疑究竟他們是否明白甚麼是「侵犯版權」。網頁公開了就是公開了，那裏有訂明要宣傳過才是侵犯版權？
