一個極適合香港中小企出席講座 Linux & OSS Solutions Day 即將在擧行 （06－10－2004），主題是針對本港的商人營商環境需要，而提出開放源碼軟件解決方案，一切方案以低成本和易於實行，並不會為軟硬件所限制。

Linux & OSS Solutions Day 是由新華理大培訓及研發中心和開源標準科技協進會合辦，主要是為香港的中小企提供一個全面的採用開放源碼軟件的方案，今次贊助的公司分別有 Computer Association、Cisco Systems、NEC、Nod32、Novell 和 Qlinux。而技援的機構方別是 GNOME HK、LPI、開放系統研用協會(OAKA)、HK Samba Association、 工商貿易署。傳媒則有 Linux Pilot 和 OSS Journal。
