Embedded system and Java on LinuxEmbedded Linux and Embedded Java is not a new topic. But using framebuffer directly , qtopia or mini-gui doesn't really help making java avalible in embedded enviornment. porting j2me to different platform doesn't really get an open source vm work very well. Right now I'm using kaffe + directfb + kawt + odonate could possible make the JavaGUI avalible in most vesa display. All opensource and lot of possiblility. | Alex Lau, AvengerGear |
