Carsten Pedersen, Certification Manager of MySQL AB, will visit Hong Kong and being the speaker of OSSO seminar on June 16th, 2005 and talk about"Making a business of Open Source" and "Optimizing MySQL".

Mr. Pedersen joined MySQL AB in 2002 to develop and manage the MySQL AB certification program. He has also involve in the development of MySQL 5. InterBase 終於對出了 Linux 版，不過其 License 很古怪，只容許你在 Red Hat Linux 4.2 上跑。 (5.0 都不可以 !?)

Borland ( 蘭寶 ) 將在本年六用推出 InterBase for Linux 。 Linux 版的 InterBase 將會建基於 InterBase 4 及將在年尾推出的 5 。這算是首次有大的 RDBMS 生產商注意到 Linux 的潛力，值得鼓舞也期望 Delphi for Linux 為期不遠。
