KDE Plasma appears set to retire its X11 session, if the picture painted at this year's Akademy is any guide. Marco Martin, a KDE contributor who spends most of his time on Plasma, delivered the year-in-review talk at the conference in Graz, Austria, with LWN.net reporting on the session.
